To assist you in selecting the best water pump for your needs, we provide two comparison charts for our piston pumps.
The first chart displays the maximum flow rate and maximum pressure that each water pump can achieve. Flow rates are measured in liters per hour, while pressure is given in psi and vertical lift in meters.
The second chart outlines the maximum pressure and the electrical power required to achieve that pressure. Power requirements are indicated in horsepower (HP), with pressure again shown in psi and vertical lift in meters. All of our pumps are designed to operate at a 1,450 RPM output.
If you intend to use a petrol or diesel motor, you will need to triple the power indicated on the chart. Additionally, you will need to reduce the RPM to match the 1,450 RPM that the pumps are designed to handle. This typically requires a 2:1 reduction gearbox, as most petrol or diesel engines operate at 3,000 to 4,000 RPM. We also recommend against directly mounting a petrol or diesel motor, as these engines produce significant vibrations that can negatively impact the lifespan of the pump.
